- Education: Master’s degree or final-year student in Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related quantitative disciplines.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with SAS concepts (e.g., DATA steps, basic PROCs) or strong programming foundations in R/Python with a strong willingness to master SAS.
Data Skills: Solid understanding of data structures and intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables). - Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent logical thinking, and a strong desire to transition into the clinical data science industry.
- Work Authorization: Open to OPT candidates. Fully remote work within the US is available.
- Develop SAS programs for validating surveillance, clinical, or research study data.
- Verify that all variables that should be included in the resulting dataset are present in the dataset and extraneous variables are excluded.
- Assist in developing and validating SAS programs to support clinical trial data analysis.
Learn and apply CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM) to prepare datasets for regulatory submissions.
Help generate and quality-check clinical summary tables, data listings, and figures (TLFs).
Perform data cleaning, consistency checks, and identify discrepancies in incoming clinical databases.
Collaborate with senior statistical programmers and data managers to document program specifications and codebooks.
Participate in team code reviews and structured clinical data analysis training sessions.
