Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong SAS programming and SQL skills to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to deliver meaningful analysis and recommendations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about using data to solve complex business problems. Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain SAS programs for automated reporting and advanced statistical analysis Create and optimize SAS stored procedures and views for improved data accessibility Maintain and develop data interfaces Troubleshoot system and batch processing Design and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and share business insights Identify trends and patterns in data to support strategic decision-making Document technical processes and maintain data dictionaries Validate data quality and implement data cleaning procedures Mentor junior analysts in SQL and SAS best practices

• Expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers)
• Strong working experience in ETL tools like Informatica (Power Center)
• Working experience in scripting and automation using Unix, Python in a Data Engineering environment.
Extensive experience with Relational Databases like Oracle including being able to implement performance tuning techniques
• Strong working knowledge of Datawarehousing patterns and Dimensional Modelling techniques using Oracle.
• Experience building scalable patterns for data integration in a cloud-based as well as on-prem environments
• Working knowledge of Batch scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as OBIEE/OAS
• Working experience using GitHUB for Source Code Management (SCM) in a Data Engineering Practice
