Job Summary:
The systems engineer is part of technical team and will assist with integrating new missions into the baseline, planning system upgrades, identify requirements and deficiencies in ground station hardware and software. Assists with the analyses to evaluate needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, science discipline or related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience with spacecraft ground stations systems and networks
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI
Required Skills:
Technical background in ground station system and subsystem design and development for spacecraft telemetry, tracking and communications.
Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture.
Experience with system security, data protection protocols, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages for system management.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
Certifications in systems engineering (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
