Job Summary

DEFINITION Under direction, to operate a serving kitchen facility. Satellite Kitchen Operator orders supplies such as paper goods, fruit, cereal, from vendors. Monitors other satellite kitchen staff and reports to cooking kitchen manager for any problems. Makes an end of week inventory, keeps record of supplies being used. Paper work is required daily to send to preparation kitchen in regards to food served and leftovers. Receives, heats, and serves meals; prepares simple food items; maintains simple records; and performs related work as required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledges and abilities stated above, and the ability to perform the duties of the position. A typical qualifying entrance background is experience in serving meals in large quantities. Certified in food sanitation by a county health department approved agency. We reserve the right to reopen this position, re-advertise, retract, or delay filling the position.
