SAU+VISTA members will build capacity across multiple SAU and community programs by developing systems, resources, and outreach that strengthen education, economic opportunity, and community engagement. Members may support digital communication efforts, help expand arts programming, assist with community and campus wellness initiatives, enhance student success and retention systems, contribute to volunteer coordination and engagement, and support grant research to increase long-term sustainability. Additional service may include improving student activity programming, supporting creative and performing arts efforts, and assisting with planning and research for emerging campus projects, such as agricultural or farmstead initiatives. Across all placements, members will focus on creating sustainable processes, strengthening partnerships, and improving access to resources for the populations served.
