Job Title: CNC Band Saw Operator (Steel Cutting)
Pay & Benefits: $22–$24/hr (based on experience). Contract-to-hire with a pay review when you convert to a direct hire. Once hired in, you’ll be eligible for medical & dental, 401(k) with 6% match, life insurance, 5 paid sick days, and 10 vacation days in year one.
Hours & Location: Strongsville, OH (44149 area) — start ASAP
Mon–Fri 3:00pm–11:30pm
Mon–Fri 6:00pm–2:30am
Overtime may be available.
Job Responsibilities:
Pull bar stock for customer orders and stage material for production
Load steel into a CNC band saw and set correct cut lengths (cut-to-length work)
Monitor the cut process, verify order specs, and band finished product for outbound shipping
Operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor and overhead crane to move steel (½” to 26” diameter range)
Complete daily pre-start equipment inspections
Back up shipping/receiving by helping load/unload trucks when needed
Required Qualifications:
Band saw or heavy material cutting experience preferred
Strong tape-measure skills (read and measure accurately)
Able to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, and work in an industrial setting
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Comfortable communicating in English for safety/work instructions
Willing to work off-shifts and overtime as needed
