Pay:  Starting pay will range between $17.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full?time, hourly position. In addition, there is a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Job Overview

The Saw Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC saws, vertical and horizontal saws, and other shop equipment to cut metal materials according to precise specifications. This role also includes managing the saw area workload based on work orders and production schedules, as well as assisting with inventory organization and material handling.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct set-ups and run production per schedule or as directed by supervisor
  • Deburr, finish, and assemble material and parts as required
  • Meet production goals
  • Assist Machinist as needed
  • Plan day by studying work orders, drawings, material specifications and schedule
  • Utilize math concepts of measuring, counting, and reading blueprints, tape measure and calipers
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance regularly
  • Organize and clean workspace daily

 

Requirements

  • 1 years of experience operating CNC Saw, Vertical and Horizontal Saws and other shop equipment preferred
  • Attention to detail and appreciation for quality
  • Strong mathematical comprehension
  • Ability to read tape measure, blueprints, and calipers.
 

Core Competencies

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Preferences

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.

Travel & Work Arrangements

  • On-site position based in Tulsa, OK.
  • No travel required.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as required by management.

Pay Range

Starting pay will range between $17.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position. In addition, there is a $2.00 per hour shift differential.
