Experience: Previous manufacturing experience required; 1–2 years in a machine shop environment preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Cutting: Operate bandsaws and saw cutting machinery to precision-cut structural channels, I-beams, and multiple dimensions of square tubing.
Material Handling & Support: Load, stack, position, and transport workpieces, tools, dies, and stock by hand or truck to support metal fabrication workflows.
Blueprint Reading & Safety: Interpret technical drawings for accurate fitting and rigorously adhere to all workplace safety guidelines.
Nucor is seeking a dedicated Saw Operator in Los Angeles, CA to assist with metal fabrication by operating bandsaws and cutting square tubing, structural channels, and I-beams. The ideal candidate must have prior manufacturing or machine shop experience, the physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible 10–12-hour shifts, and strong skills in reading tape measures and technical drawings.
Compensation and Benefits
