Saw Operator

We are looking for someone with experience of operating band saws, for a manufacturer in Leetsdale, PA. This person will support machine shop functions by deburring products and smoothing edges; operating saws, drill presses, angle hole machines. Lubricate and clean machines, move materials, and pull parts.

Full time weekly work schedule of Monday- Friday, 6AM- 2.30PM. Possible overtime. This location is on a bus line.

The starting pay range Is $19.50 per hour. Pay will gradually increase, and by the end of the first year you could make up to $22.30 per hour. Plus discretionary annual bonus.

Direct hire to company payroll with a full benefits package. Benefits include add-ons like employee lunches and reimbursement for steel toes. The plant has a friendly family-like atmosphere. There is room for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience operating a band saw is required. Other experience operating Shop equipment is helpful.

• Manufacturing or machine shop experience helpful.

• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions, drawings and good attention to detail

• Capable of learning to use a forklift

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position that include standing, walking and lifting for the entire shift

• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug and criminal background check
