Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Band Saw Operator with Overhead Crane experience to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, experience handling metal materials, and a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate band saw equipment to cut materials according to specifications Safely operate overhead crane to move materials throughout the facility Read and interpret work orders and measurements accurately Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist with general production tasks as needed
Qualifications: Prior experience operating a band saw in a manufacturing or industrial setting Experience operating an overhead crane (required) Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials regularly Dependable with good attendance
Preferred Skills: Experience working with metal fabrication or steel materials Forklift experience (a plus)
