Saw Operator

JOB SUMMARY

Ability to operate walk-behind concrete saws, both full-depth and Soff-Cut saws. Will also be responsible for hot taring operations. Must be willing to work with a team of other construction workers to assist in completing a variety of tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to complete sawing activities post hand placed and slipform concrete placement
• Miscellaneous full depth saw cutting
• Travel to jobsite (or multiple jobsites) and perform sawing/taring responsibilities
• Must be able to do light service and maintenance on equipment
• Saw operations include walk behind saws and quickie saws
• Operate the tar truck, hot tar sealing concrete joints
• Physical work is expected to operate saws and assist the crews as necessary
• Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
• Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

• Educational requirements: High school/ GED and minimum 3 years of related work experience
• Job is physically intense and requires, Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing, and carrying over 50lbs
• Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.
• Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license. CDL preferred
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule.
