Overview:
Kaukahi is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to serve as the GFEBS Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Help Desk Liaison. The Data Entry Clerk will provide essential administrative and customer service support, ensuring accurate data entry, work order tracking, and coordination with DPW staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and track DMOs, PMOs, PWOs, OWOs, and process work status updates and completions.
- Provide excavation permit help desk coordination and customer service support to DPW internal and external customers.
- Assist with work coordination and communication between DPW execution staff.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GFEBS procedures.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with GFEBS Plant Maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Job Location: Fort A.P. Hill, VA
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds as necessary.
