We are seeking a full-time, paid SCADA Technology & Business Intern to support cross-functional teams across technology, operations, sales, and business functions.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on, educational experience with software systems, data analysis, customer engagement, and emerging technologies within the water and wastewater industry.

This internship is approximately 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026, running through the start of the Fall 2026 semester.

This is a short-term, in-person internship. Candidates must already be located in the Nashville area and available to work on-site. Relocation assistance is not available.

Hourly Pay: $17.00 - $21.00

Location: On-site, Nashville, TN

Internship Duration: Through the start of the Fall 2026 semester

What You'll Do:

  • Support teams across engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback reviews.
  • Help evaluate and test emerging technologies (AI, Industrial IoT, computer vision, satellite communications).
  • Support software testing, QA, and system documentation.
  • Contribute to product management activities, including research and requirements gathering.
  • Assist with sales and marketing materials, including presentations and case studies.
  • Support customer onboarding, training, and ongoing customer success efforts.
  • Develop documentation such as SOPs, reports, and training materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with project coordination, planning, and tracking.
  • Gain exposure to technologies supporting critical water and wastewater infrastructure.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in technology, software, infrastructure, operations, business strategy, sales, marketing, or product development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data analysis tools, or project management platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to programming, databases, automation systems, or AI tools is beneficial but not required.

Additional Information:

This internship is intended to provide educational and practical learning experience. The selected candidate will be classified as a non-exempt, hourly employee in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and will be compensated for all hours worked.
