As a Scale Attendant, you will be responsible for all scale and ticketing related duties related to our various pit scales. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dispatch office as you manage the day-to-day ticketing requirements. **WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH** + Scale trucks when required prior to loading for tare purposes + Scale trucks when loaded + Ensuring proper information is entered: Truck information, Customer/quote information, Product, Weights. + Entering dump tickets correctly + Ensure all Sales transactions are processed correctly and in a timely manner + Faxing of various tracking sheets to customers when required + Answer ticketing calls + Complete ticketing paperwork + Help with any other requests as required + Receiving future customer orders and communicating with dispatch team for scheduling purposes + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
