    Scale Clerk Core Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service by handling phone inquiries, processing orders, and supporting field sales representatives with professionalism and a positive attitude
    • Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members using verbal and written skills
    • Operate office equipment and accurately perform scale duties, ensuring precise measurements and data recording
    • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining organization and attention to detail
    • Read and understand various documents including instruction manuals, safety information, and hazard labels to ensure compliance and safety
    • Perform general office administration tasks such as data entry, filing, and supporting other administrative functions as needed
    • Make informed decisions independently, handling administrative responsibilities with sound judgment
    • Adapt to changing priorities and diverse tasks to support the dynamic needs of the operation


    Scale Clerk Key Skills:

    • Excellence in customer service with a professional and positive demeanor
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and office tasks
    • Ability to operate office equipment and perform scale-related duties accurately
    • Highly organized and capable of multitasking effectively
    • Competent in reading and comprehending technical and safety documents
    • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently
    • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing work environment

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience: Prior experience in an office environment preferred but not required.
    • Other Requirements: Strong work ethic and reliability in performing scale and administrative duties.
