The City of Livingston is seeking a full time Scale House Operator to join the Public Works Department at the Cityxe2x80x99s Solid Waste Transfer Station. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers bringing refuse and recyclable materials to the transfer station and is responsible for weighing loads, processing payments, maintaining records, and assisting with day to day operations at the scale house. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced public facing environment.

This is a full time year round position with a typical Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed. Starting pay is $22.62 per hour and includes a competitive benefits package, including retirement, health insurance, paid leave, and more.
