Scoular is seeking a motivated scale operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating safe and reliable supply chain solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks and direct them to the correct loading/unloading areas.
- Communicate with the production team to keep operations running smoothly.
- Enter customer and commodity information into a tracking system.
- Collect grain samples by probing incoming trucks.
- Perform general housekeeping duties for the scale room and office.
- Greet customers and visitors both in person and via phone while providing superior customer service.
About You:
- Experience using a keyboard and navigating computer screens.
- Ability to handle standard office phone calls.
- Operating a scale and grading equipment preferred but not required.
- Must be able to remain standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time.
