3D Scanning Technician / Blue Light Scan Specialist – Sedalia, MO (Night Shift)

Looking to break into advanced 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and high-precision inspection work? We’re hiring a 3D Scanning Technician / Blue Light Scan Specialist for a growing engineering and manufacturing team supporting turbine component operations on the night shift. This is a great opportunity for someone with scanning, manufacturing, CAD, metrology, or mechanical experience who wants hands-on training and long-term growth in a highly technical environment.

Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
$55K–$82K

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform 3D scanning and dimensional inspection activities
  • Capture and process scan data for engineering and manufacturing applications
  • Support reverse engineering and CAD modeling initiatives
  • Assist with overnight scanning and inspection operations
  • Support inspection documentation and reporting
  • Learn advanced scanning methodologies used on high-precision turbine components

What We’re Looking For
  • Blue light scanning or general scanning experience preferred
  • Open to candidates with strong technical aptitude and hands-on mechanical or manufacturing backgrounds

Experience in:
  • Metrology
  • Dimensional inspection
  • CAD
  • Manufacturing
  • Quality or engineering support
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on overnight schedules
  • Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Metrology, or related technical field preferred
  • Aerospace, turbine, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus
