Principal Function: The Scare Team is responsible for scaring guests and assisting with set-up and tear down of scare attractions during the Headless Horsemen Festival. Scare Team members may work in either the Haunted Trail or the Headless Horsemen Hayride. Shifts are typically 4pm-11pm, Thursday-Sunday during the month of October. Training will take place in late September. The Headless Horseman Festival is a rain or shine event and Scare Team members will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Applicants for this position should be 16 years of age or older.

Education and/or Experience: GED/High School Diploma desired. Experience working in haunted attractions or theater desired.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to working in outdoor weather conditions. The employee will occasionally work, in high, precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Conner Prairie's Headless Horsemen Festival is Thursday through Sunday, 5:00pm to 11:00pm this position will be required to work during these days and hours.
