Schedule Planner II - Material Planning and Control

? Production Scheduler (2nd Shift) | Davenport, IA (Onsite)

We’re hiring a Production Scheduler to support fabrication operations in Davenport, IA. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and schedule production and service parts to meet manufacturing demands
• Coordinate materials, parts, and production schedules across multiple departments
• Expedite production and purchased parts to avoid delays
• Support engineering and material changes impacting production
• Manage inventory planning using kanban systems and forecasting tools
• Analyze production requirements and support workforce/machine capacity planning
• Audit inventory accuracy and support production reporting
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, engineers, and other schedulers

What We’re Looking For:

• Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field + 1 year of experience, OR
  • High school diploma with 5+ years of scheduling experience in a production environment
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs required)
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team
• Comfortable working on the production floor (~75% of the time)

Work Details:

• ? Location: Davenport, IA (100% onsite)
• ? Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
• ? Schedule: 40 hours/week + overtime available (not guaranteed)
• ? Must be flexible to support alternate shifts based on business needs
• ? Metatarsal safety boots required
