Senior Helpers Tri-Cities is looking for an organized, compassionate, and solution-oriented Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator to join our office team.
This opportunity is available due to an extended employee leave. While initially intended as a temporary position, there is the potential for this role to become permanent based on business needs and performance.

Competitive hourly pay: $22 - $26 per hour DOE

As our Scheduler, you'll coordinate care for seniors throughout the Tri-Cities by:
Scheduling and matching caregivers with clients based on care needs, skills, and availability.
Maintaining caregiver schedules and ensuring all client visits are fully staffed.
Responding quickly to schedule changes, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs.
Communicating schedule updates professionally with caregivers, clients, and families.
Monitoring schedules for continuity of care and operational efficiency.
Maintaining accurate scheduling documentation within company software.
Auditing caregiver timecards and scheduled hours.
Assisting with caregiver credential tracking as assigned.
Helping identify staffing needs and communicating hiring priorities to leadership.
Participating in the on-call rotation (approximately two weeks per month).
Building positive relationships with caregivers and clients.
Working collaboratively with leadership to resolve scheduling challenges and client concerns.

Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office
Professional telephone etiquette
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred:
One or more years of scheduling, staffing, dispatch, logistics, workforce management, or healthcare scheduling experience
Home care, healthcare, or medical office experience
Experience using scheduling software
Experience with multi-line phone systems
Frequent sitting, computer use, and telephone communication.
Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive hand movements.
