Scheduler

Forest Park, IL | Production Planning | Customer-Focused Scheduling

At Duraco Specialty Materials, scheduling is where customer commitments and production reality come together. As a Scheduler, you will work closely with Customer Service and Production to understand priorities, navigate changing demands, and build schedules that align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities. By reviewing open orders, inventory, work in progress, material availability, and production constraints, you will help keep orders moving, teams aligned, customers informed, and operations running efficiently.

What You Will Own

  • Coordinate daily scheduling priorities with Production and Customer Service, including expedite requests, promise dates, delays, and changing customer needs.
  • Review open orders, stock levels, WIP, finished goods inventory, material availability, and critical asset schedules to identify constraints and keep production aligned.
  • Maintain a visible, accurate production schedule that supports on-time delivery, efficient asset utilization, and clear communication to the floor and site leadership.
  • Serve as the ERP/MRP subject matter expert for scheduling and planning, helping identify system gaps, improve data accuracy, and support process improvements.
  • Balance customer satisfaction and production efficiency through clear communication, daily follow-up, and strong cross-functional coordination.

The salary range for this role is starting $82,000-$95,000, based on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive benefits package which include medical, dental, vison, disability, Vacation, 401K.
