  • Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (09:00 - 17:00) | Non-Exempt 8/40 | 24 weeks | 1.0 FTE contractor, no patient care

SUMMARY/DUTIES:
  • Scheduler II contractor will support company Care at Home, Home Health in Concord with centralized scheduling needs for a 24-week assignment
  • This role maintains accurate patient service schedules, answers phones, coordinates scheduling details with physicians’ offices and internal departments, and updates job-related documentation
  • Responsibilities include confirming availability, communicating with patients and care teams, resolving standard scheduling issues, and supporting branch coverage during LOAs and maternity leave
  • The role requires strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • This is a hybrid, non-patient-care scheduling function focused on clerical coordination, compliance, PHI protection, and reliable day-shift support
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • HS diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • At least 1+ year of recent relevant scheduling, clerical, or healthcare administrative experience
  • Experience with patient scheduling, maintaining service schedules, and updating documentation
  • Experience coordinating with physicians’ offices, patients, families, and internal departments
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic tests, surgeries, consultations, and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to protect PHI and follow privacy, safety, regulatory, and department procedures
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an interrupted environment
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in home health or centralized scheduling
  • Experience supporting high-volume branch or patient census workflows
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines within standardized procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers, supervisors, and care teams
