SUMMARY OF JOB:

A scheduler at Holy Redeemer Health System (HRHS) assumes responsibility of scheduling competition for all disciplines within Homecare and Hospice. Coordinates patient visit activities and ensures continuity of caregiver whenever possible. Acts as a liaison between patients and staff related to patient schedules.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of scheduling experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic scheduling preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience functioning in a health care environment preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Embodies positive thinking and “can do-will do” attitude
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Proficient at multi-tasking
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently within a high intensity environment
