Job Title - Scheduler I
Job Location - Saginaw, MI
Job Duration - 8+ Months
This will be Hybrid Role - M/T/TH onsite

Duties:
  • The Contractor Scheduler is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and support of daily work and planning of resources specific to the assigned business unit.
  • Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.
  • Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups.
  • Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications.
  • Support emergent matters in line with the business units' processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.
Schedule Notes:
  • This will be hybrid, M/T/TH onsite. In addition to Saginaw, open to candidates who would report to the Grand Rapids, Jackson, or Lansing Service Centres as well.
Skills:
  • Ability to work effectively in urgent situations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Critical Thinking.
  • Skilled in organization and time management.
  • MS Office experience, Excel
Education:
  • Production schedulers typically need at least an associate's degree in management or a relevant field; a bachelor's degree may be preferred. Experience in the scheduling is beneficial, and knowledge of SAP is expected.
