Previous scheduling experience in a health care environment is required (e.g., physician office, clinic)
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical diagnostic procedures, and health care required
Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented 9. Must be highly skilled in verbal communication, problem solving, prioritization and organization
Knowledge of HIPAA/Confidentiality
Experience with multi-line phone systems - Preferred
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills - Required

Basic understanding of healthcare plans

Bilingual is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-5 years of prior medical scheduling is preferred
Requirements for Level II Status:
Intermediate experience (4+ years' experience) and/or acting more independently,
Takes on some additional duties to assist the office.
Strong and consistent performer.
