Project Scheduler Location: Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Contract & Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $60-$65/hr (based on experience
Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to support large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across Los Angeles. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools
Perform critical path analysis and identify potential schedule risks and delays
Update schedules based on project progress and communicate changes to stakeholders
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to gather schedule updates
Analyze schedule variances and provide recommendations for recovery plans
Support planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts across multiple projects
Ensure schedules align with contract requirements, milestones, and project goals
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in project scheduling within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
Experience working on complex, multi-phase projects
Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and project timelines
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting public works or municipal projects
Familiarity with cost-loaded or resource-loaded schedules
Experience working in regulated or union environments
