    Job Description

    KEY TASKS 

    • Validate current Finished Goods Inventory status to meet customer requirements 
    • Evaluate customer EDI releases daily and plan loads accordingly 
    • Print and file required customer screens for answering any disputes 
    • Answer all Critical and Shortages in the customer systems 
    • Review launch screens / GPIRS requests and answer ship date / quantity per AQP timing 
    • Completing Add/Cancel forms, and scheduling additional shipments with carriers per the ship plan 
    • Coordinating expedited shipment when necessary 
    • Set up prototypes, schedule trucks, sales orders, and shippers for customer releases 
    • Check ARG part availability and schedule truck as necessary 
    • Check customer bulletins in customer web portal 
    • Create Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) and transmit to customers after departure of shipments 
    • Create and disseminate routine correspondence 
    • Copying correspondence or other printed matter 
    • Filing correspondence and other records (ASN’s, EDI’s, etc.) 
    • Maintain daily shipping documentation for j-sox, file required paperwork 
    • Check customer delivery scorecards and submit disputes as necessary. 
    • Dispute freight charges as necessary. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor 
    • Others, as required 

     

    REQUIREMENTS  

    Education:  

    • High school diploma or GED required 
    • BS or Associate degree in business administration preferred 

    Years of Experience:  

    • 3+ years’ material handling experience  material a manufacturing environment 

    Other Requirements:  

    • Advanced computer skills and software experience (Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.) required 
    • Valid Driver’s license required for business travel 
    • Fork Lift certified  
    • Overtime may be required to support customer releases on an undetermined basis, including weekends and holidays
