Basic Job Functions:

Teammate will be responsible for scheduling sales and production orders in accordance with currentsales order demand. This includes, but is not limited to, proactively managing schedules for productionresources and other scheduling functions as necessary. Analyze schedules and future demand to ensurethe division is aligning with its goals and strategies. Work with our sales, purchasing, production,quality, fi nance and shipping teams to ensure orders are completed on time. Provide solutions tosituations that may arise during the order, scheduling, and production process. Occasional travel maybe required to visit other Nucor facilities.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience
• Strong computer and analytical skills that include experience using Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous scheduling, deadline management, order management
Experience within the cold fi nish and/or steelmaking industry
Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
Experience in manufacturing or production scheduling environments
