Scheduler

SNI Companies is working with a large Medical Practice who is looking for a Scheduler in Mercer County, NJ. This a great role for anyone who is looking to get into the medical field, has a willingness to learn, and can build a good rapport with customers. Possible hybrid option after 6 month probationary period!!

Job Duties Include:

• Expedites patient care by scheduling patients' appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Answers 50+ telephone calls in the scheduling queue daily.
• Supports Lead in achieving departmental standard for wait times, work times, and abandonment rate.
• Verifies insurance contract requirements when scheduling exams and reminds the patient of these requirements.
• Verifies all patient demographic information.
• Accurately schedules exams for the proper modality, time, machine, and Radiologist.
• Effectively explains preps (actions a patient must take for a proper exam) to the patient, using terms the patient can understand.
• Verifies patient understands all prep instructions.
• Provides back up to Scheduling clerical support responsibilities, such as clearing right fax and batching scripts into system, verifying out-going faxes are successful and calling offices when clarification is needed.
• Interfaces with Lead regarding any and all departmental concerns.
• Attends staff meetings regularly and follows all company policies and procedures.

Hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm and one Saturday 8am-12pm every 7-8 weeks. 

Pay Rate: $18-$20 an hour
