Scheduler

SNI Companies is collaborating with a prominent Medical Practice seeking a dedicated individual eager to enter the medical field. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth and the potential for a hybrid work arrangement after a 6-month probationary period.

Job Duties Include:

• Facilitating patient care by accurately and efficiently scheduling appointments.
• Managing approximately 50 telephone calls daily in the scheduling queue.
• Assisting the Lead in meeting departmental standards for wait times, work times, and abandonment rates.
• Verifying insurance contract requirements when scheduling exams and reminding patients of these requirements.
• Ensuring the accuracy of all patient demographic information.
• Scheduling exams correctly for the appropriate modality, time, machine, and Radiologist.
• Clearly explaining pre-exam preparations to patients in understandable terms.
• Confirming patient comprehension of all preparation instructions.
• Providing backup for clerical support responsibilities, such as managing right fax, batching scripts into the system, verifying outgoing faxes, and contacting offices for clarification when needed.
• Communicating with the Lead regarding any and all departmental concerns.
• Regularly attending staff meetings and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-6 pm, with one Saturday shift from 8 am-12 pm every 7-8 weeks.

Compensation:
$18-$20 per hour
