Position Overview
Seeking a customer-focused professional to serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking access to healthcare services.
This role involves appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, data entry, and responding to patient inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and route high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
Register patients and maintain accurate demographic information.
Verify insurance eligibility and review benefits.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, text, and web-based platforms.
Perform accurate data entry while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Route messages and appointment requests to providers and clinical staff.
Utilize multiple systems simultaneously while assisting patients.
Maintain productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
Deliver professional, compassionate, and efficient customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, call center, healthcare support, scheduling, or related environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
Patient scheduling experience.
Healthcare customer service experience.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
Insurance verification and benefits experience.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR or scheduling systems.
