Primary Healthcare Centers is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Scheduling Representative to join our Patient Services team!

About the Position
As a Scheduling Representative, you will play an important role in helping our patients access the care they need. You will serve as a key point of contact for patients by answering calls, coordinating appointments, providing important appointment information, and helping ensure a positive patient experience.


What You'll Do
  • Answer incoming calls to the scheduling department and operator line
  • Schedule patient appointments based on availability, urgency, and patient needs
  • Reschedule and cancel appointments as needed
  • Confirm and update patient information
  • Provide patients with appointment dates, times, locations, and preparation instructions
  • Answer patient questions regarding appointments and procedures
  • Communicate applicable policies and sliding-scale update requirements
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and patient records
  • Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts professionally and compassionately
  • Work collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and other departments
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Education & Experience


Required:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred, but not required:
  • Medical Assistant certificate or degree
  • Current Georgia LPN license
  • Two years of experience in a medical office
  • Bilingual skills
