Job Responsibilities:
As a Scheduler, you will
Coordinate Staffing - Develop and maintain accurate schedules for Nursing and Food Services team members, ensuring appropriate staffing levels across all shifts and buildings.
Partner with Leadership - Collaborate with Nursing, Food Services, and Human Resources to coordinate staffing needs, PTO requests, leaves of absence, and schedule changes.
Maintain Scheduling Systems - Keep scheduling and timekeeping systems accurate by documenting schedule changes, absenteeism, and daily staffing assignments.
Support Team Members - Respond to call-ins, assist with return-to-work guidance, orient new team members to scheduling processes, and communicate staffing updates across departments.
Ensure Compliance - Maintain scheduling records, contract and per diem documentation, competencies, billing reports, and staffing practices that meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Two to four years of related scheduling or staffing experience preferred.
Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn scheduling and timekeeping software.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Active CNA certification preferred or required based on organizational needs.
