    BayCare is currently in search of our newest Scheduler who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

    Position Details:

    • Location: Winter Haven
    • Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
    • Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
    • Weekend Work: None

    The Scheduler is responsible for:

    • Scheduling procedures and appointments accurately and efficiently
    • Collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information
    • Providing detailed preparation instructions for clinical exams
    • Documenting patient responses to clinical questions
    • Communicating scheduling updates with physician offices and hospital teams
    • Supporting authorization and payer guideline adherence
    • Performing clerical duties including answering phones and data entry
    • Assisting with workflow coordination and patient inquiries
    • Traveling between BayCare locations as needed
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    Required Education:

    • High School or Equivalent

    Experience:

    • One (1) year of experience in one of the following:
    • Business-related field
    • Healthcare setting
    • Customer service
