Job Overview:

Get ready to drive efficiency by using data to make smarter scheduling decisions! Marvin is looking for a Scheduling Analyst to join our enterprise logistics team. In this role, you’ll blend analytical thinking with collaboration, using data and insights to optimize routing, improve on-time delivery, and support scheduling practices across the business.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, influencing cross-functional teams, and making an impact on how products move from production to customer, this role offers a unique opportunity to elevate both processes and performance.

Highlights of your role:
  • Partners with outside vendors to collaborate on delivery designs, including pulling historical data for analysis, and conducting pricing analysis.  
  • Supports internal project teams as a subject matter expert in scheduling practices across the enterprise 
  • Identify root cause drivers of performance gaps and lead actions to improve KPIs (on-time delivery, fill rate, cost variance) 
  • Owns and influences key transportation and manufacturing KPIs including on-time delivery, cost per mile, and fill rate 
  • Reports out monthly on empty miles and fill rate metrics 
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable insights 
  • Drives alignment across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics teams to support enterprise delivery performance 
  • Drives implementation and actionable improvements by partnering with operations, manufacturing, and logistics teams to implement data-driven solutions 
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required 
  • Strong analytic skills  
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into operational decisions 
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and make data-informed decisions with incomplete information 
  • Advanced data analysis skills (Excel required; Power BI or similar tools preferred) 
  • SQL experience preferred   
  • Ability to interact with a cross functional team 
  • Ability to balance cost, service, and operational constraints in decision making 
  • Ability to self-motivate 
  • Experience with transportation/scheduling preferred 
  • Strong computer skills are required 
  • Analytical thinking, dynamic problem solving & proactive decision-making skills
