Looking for a bilingual Scheduling Coordinator responsible for managing and optimizing inbound and outbound logistics schedules within a cold storage warehouse environment in the Castroville area!. This role ensures efficient dock utilization, timely shipment processing, and coordination between drivers, warehouse staff, and customers while maintaining strict adherence to temperature-controlled handling requirements.

Job Description: 
  • Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound shipments, including appointments for carriers, vendors, and customers
  • Manage dock door assignments to maximize efficiency and minimize congestion
  • Communicate with trucking companies, drivers, and internal teams regarding schedule changes, delays, or issues
  • Monitor shipment timelines to ensure on-time arrivals and departures
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments, shipments, and inventory movement in warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Prioritize urgent and temperature-sensitive loads to maintain product integrity
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse supervisors to align staffing with daily workload demands
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans as needed to avoid disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with cold storage handling procedures and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries regarding shipment status and scheduling

Requirements: 
  • 2+ years of scheduling, logistics coordination, or warehouse operations experience (cold storage or food distribution preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments and adapt to operational demands
 
Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Varies)
Hours: 8am - 5pm
