Scheduling Coordinator

$18.00-$23.00 per hour, with credit for experience
Full-time, 40 hours per week, as scheduled, on-call required

What You'll Do:

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly nursing staff schedules to maintain appropriate staffing coverage
  • Coordinate shift changes, vacation requests, call-offs, agency staffing, and on-call scheduling support
  • Maintain attendance records, review timecards, process payroll, and manage agency invoices
  • Prepare daily nursing assignments and maintain accurate staff contact information
  • Assist with onboarding, PBJ reporting, supply ordering, phones, and other administrative support tasks
  • Support nursing leadership in maintaining compliance, efficient operations, and quality resident care
  • Provide CNA floor coverage as needed
  • Regularly participate in on-call coverage outside scheduled hours to support a 24-hour response to staffing and scheduling issues

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
  • Current Illinois CNA certification (required)
  • One to two years of healthcare or long-term care scheduling experience (required)
  • Experience with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Strong communication, organization, customer service, and multitasking skills
