Position: Scheduling Implementation Specialist
Location: 1400 Pelham Parkway South, Bronx New York 10461
Employment: Contract position
Client: NYC Health & Hospitals (Jacobi Hospital)
Rate: $70-75/hr. on C2C (All Incl.)

Will be working onsite at Jacobi Hospital (Bronx, NY), Mon-Fri.
Ideal candidate should have strong scheduling implementation experience (Clairvia, UKG or Oracle Workforce Scheduling)

Data conversion experience would be a huge plus; Also need to have very strong Excel skills

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the existing scheduling tool for Nursing – Clairvia
• Run reports
• Assign security based on user requests
• Make daily updates to the web and client applications
• Ensure HR import is run daily from PeopleSoft
• Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team for ORACLE scheduling
• Previous Schedule Data Conversion experience required
• SQL and Advanced Excel knowledge required
• Involved in all testing phases and issue resolution for the project – including integration with Epic and Point Click Care
• Knowledge of ORACLE Cloud scheduling is a plus, but prior Clairvia, UKG or Ansos scheduling implementation is necessary
• Partner with Nursing/Operations personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications
• Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver solutions
• Work with other EITS teams during downtimes, SQL server updates, Epic upgrades
• Perform other work as assigned

General Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include:
• Analyze and document business requirements and processes; communicate requirements to technical personnel through the construction of basic conceptual data, process models and flowcharts, and technical specifications.
• Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors in order to assess business needs; create business, functional and technical requirements documents based on captured data and in accordance with departmental protocol/standards.
• Convert information gathered into details including data sources, data and user types, interface components, interface navigation needs, reporting needs, and administrative system needs.
• Define external interfaces, constraints, quality issues and other non-functional requirements.
•Ensure software development team accounts for all defined requirements in coordination with quality assurance team. Ensure that all quality standards comply with internal policies and industry standards.
• Document changes to baseline requirements through standard change control process. Document software test plans, technical requirements, release notes, user and training guidelines and other materials.
• Perform end user and application support functions including problem solving and resolution of application function defects. Provide systems and application training.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide analysis and propose change and communicate strategies.
• Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned
• Work on other activities, as assigned.
