    Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM or 8:30AM - 5PM, Weekdays

    JOB SUMMARY

    Primary function is to accurately schedule patients for outpatient procedures. Pre-register patients by entering information into computer accurately and in a professional and courteous manner.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.  One or two years of college preferred.

    Experience: Hospital or similar medical facility experience. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    1.    Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families.
    2.    Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
    3.    Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
    4.    Communicate in an acceptable, easily understood manner.
    5.    Responsible for scheduling of patients for outpatient procedures.
    6.    Responsible for pre-keying patient accounts to create account number.
    7.    Provide accurate scheduling of patients in accordance with the department scheduling guidelines.
