About the Role:
Join Lasting Impressions Child Development Center as a School-age Summer Camp Teacher and inspire young minds in a fun, engaging environment! You will lead activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and learning while making lasting memories with children in Clarksburg, WV.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate summer camp activities and programs.
- Supervise and engage with children during outdoor and indoor activities.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all campers.
- Encourage social interaction and teamwork among campers.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom and activity areas.
- Assist with daily check-in and check-out procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in education or child development preferred.
- Previous experience working with school-age children in a camp or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for nurturing and educating children.
- Availability for the entire summer camp season.
- Background check required upon hiring.
