Job Summary
The School-Based Behavioral Health Supervisor (SBBHS) is a member of the Integrated Behavioral Health Department and provides direct clinical services as well as clinical and administrative supervision to School-Based Behavioral Health Clinicians embedded within School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) and partnered school districts.
This position is approximately 80% direct patient care and 20% clinical supervision and administrative responsibilities. Most of the Supervisor's time is spent providing direct behavioral health services to students, with the remaining time dedicated to clinical supervision, administrative oversight, program coordination, and support of school-based behavioral health staff. The SBBHS supports the delivery of integrated, trauma informed behavioral health services to students with a focus on early identification, prevention, intervention, crisis response, and continuity of care for youth with complex behavioral health, social-emotional, and psychosocial needs. The Supervisor collaborates closely with SBHC leadership, Integrated Behavioral Health leaders, school administrators, educators, families, primary care providers, and community partners to ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate care within school environments.

HIPAA Requirements:
The individual holding this position will have access to PHI during the course of his/her work activities. He/she will use the information to provide individual patient assessments to be used in the development comprehensive integrated medical care services. Applying the minimum necessary standard of HIPAA, the designated record sets to which an employee holding this position will have access include: All sections of the medical record, patient demographic information in the practice management system, incoming records, reports, results, consultations, etc. The SCS is required to read the content of these records only to the extent needed to accomplish the assigned tasks.
