$5,000 - Sign on bonus:
- Eligible to BCBAs in ACS that are *hired for a minimum of 25 billable hours.
- Bonus of $2,500: 1st installment is after the first billable service. Second installment of $2,500 issued 90 days after hire.
Summary:
- The school-based Behavior Analyst / BCBA position is $75-$79 per hour based on years of experience as a BCBA (independent contractor / 1099)

- The role of the BCBA/Specialized Instructional Coach is to build capacity, knowledge base, and skills so that professional and support staff can implement evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) for the Analysis of Language strategies, at an independent and advanced level. The Specialized Instructional Coach serves in a lead consultative role to the professional and support staff at their designated site(s
Primary Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following fundamental duties:
- Serve as a lead consultant to professional and support staff at designated site(s) by offering guidance, recommendations, and support to ensure the successful implementation of specialized instructional strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies to build the capacity of professional and support staff by collaborating with staff to identify areas for skill development, creating plans for skill development, modeling skills, and monitoring and providing feedback to staff.
- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to help staff improve their skills in implementing evidence-based practices.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to instructional approaches.
- Provide written summaries/consult notes to the appropriate stakeholders based on classroom observation, consultation in quantitative data and in observational terms.
- Conduct program site reviews to assess the strengths and needs of a program through reviewing documents, interviewing staff, and conducting direct observations.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities focused on evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB).
- Provide resource/reference materials as needed to administration, professional staff, instructional assistants, and parents on evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with other instructional coaches, educators, and specialists to foster a supportive and cohesive learning environment.
- Present posters/ and/or lecture at district, state and national levels on effective approaches based on research and practice.
- Pursue/explore and attend trainings that will allow further development of advanced skills related to the implementation of effective instructional practices.
- Motivate teams to expand or further implement ABA techniques within classrooms, and program-wide.
- Support teams on difficult/ complex student cases
- Assist teams developing skills related to documentation to include IEP writing, data collection, FBA/PBSP, and programming.
Assist administrators and teachers in the development of new and existing special education classrooms
Requirements
Skills:
- Strong consultative and coaching skillset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing language-based intervention programs (i.e. VBMAPP or Essential For Living)
- Extensive knowledge of data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team atmosphere.
- Experience working with students with autism
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related program
- BCBA certification
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience implementing Verbal Behavior Language programs
