Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to provide 1 -on -1 school -based nursing support for students with severe disabilities at a school facility in Southeast Missouri. <\/span>

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.<\/span>

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.<\/span>

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric, school, or developmental -disability experience preferred.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Must pass Family Care Safety Registry and FBI fingerprint background checks.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Maintain professional liability insurance meeting state requirements.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within an educational team environment.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a student during the school day and while traveling to and from home.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Deliver medical services as outlined in the student’s IEP and IHP.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to emergency medical needs.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Ensure continuous coverage by coordinating substitute nursing services during absences, as required by the school.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Maintain detailed documentation of all care, treatments, and communication per school and state requirements.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Attend periodic orientation or training sessions as requested by the school to maintain procedural and policy compliance.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary staff to support student health and participation.<\/span>

• Provide services that follow the school calendar and daily instructional schedule.<\/span>

• Perform all duties on -site; telehealth or remote work is not permitted.<\/span>
