School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Edison, New Jersey

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Registered Nurse supporting elementary and middle school students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time position, spanning from September 4th through June 25th, involves working closely with both students and staff to nurture a safe,healthy school community.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 35 hours each week
• 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM
• Elementary and middle school caseload

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey RN School Nurse licensure required
• Demonstrated experience in a school-based nursing setting
• Comfortable adapting to district protocols and guidelines
• Able to manage and oversee the health needs for entire school buildings
• Reliable transportation and proximity to the area are essential
• Willingness to complete onboarding: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district
• Please note: This position does not accept LPN candidates

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students across elementary and middle school levels
• Triage daily health concerns and manage chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and first aid as needed
• Collaborate with faculty and families to promote student well-being
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district regulations
