School-Based SLP - Chicago Heights, IL

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is hiring a full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at a local school district in Chicago Heights, Illinois. This is an in-person, W-2 position with school-day hours and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultative services to students with diverse communication needs
• Conduct evaluations, write assessment reports, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop measurable communication goals and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
• Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• School-based experience preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits

• $55–$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• 12-month pay schedule
• School hours: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
