The successful candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, working to support their academic and social development.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students speech and language needs.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements.Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress and success.Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on speech and language needs.QualificationsMasters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid North Carolina state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.Minimum of one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric clients.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.BenefitsCompetitive wagesWeekly pay401(k) optionsVision, medical, and dental insurance eligibilityAbout Blazer JobsBlazer Jobs partners with schools in Albemarle, NC, to provide essential special education support to students.
