Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified full time school-based Social Worker to join our team! You will play a crucial role in evaluating students and developing individual treatment plans, in addition to crisis intervention, consultations, etc.

Operating with professional expertise and deep care for students, you are a natural problem solver and self-starter. You enjoy working in fast-paced environments that afford you the autonomy to bring your best.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Assess student needs related to emotional, behavioral, social, or family issues impacting school performance.

  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and social development.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies and support plans.

  • Connect families with community resources such as mental health services, housing assistance, or food support.

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.

  • Advocate for students' rights and access to services, particularly those with disabilities or in crisis.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP (Individualized Education Program) and 504 Plan meetings.

  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, trauma, or incidents of abuse or neglect.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution
  • Minimum one year of experience in working with children.  New graduates are welcome to apply!   
  • Psych experience is a plus 
Schedule
  • Flexible schedule
  • 15-20 hours per week
