School-Based Social Worker - NYC - $55-$60/hr

Location: New York City (On-site, school-based) -- choose your preferred borough(s): Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens

Compensation: $55-$60/hour (1099 independent contractor)

Employment: Contract (1099) -- full-time and part-time options available

What You'll Own

- Provide individual and group counseling to students

- Conduct assessments and build personalized intervention plans

- Address social-emotional and behavioral challenges in the school setting

- Write annual IEP reports and maintain session documentation

- Keep accurate, timely case notes and records

- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and agency team members

What You'll Bring

- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

- Active LCSW license in New York State

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfort working as a 1099 independent contractor

- Ability to work on-site in your chosen borough(s)

Nice to Have

- Experience with children or adolescents in school or clinical settings

- Bilingual ability for working with diverse student populations
