Speech Language Pathology Assistant - Phoenix school based position. 1099 Contract.
This is for a Part Time School-Based position. 2 days, 8 hours guaranteed per day.
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a qualified pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to provide support and services under direct supervision of a licensed SLP, for kids between K-12 grade.
SLPA's daily responsibilities: - ongoing speech sessions with students on caseload - speech screenings as needed - data tracking to report on goals when IEPs come due - clear communication skills - maintaining data on direct services
SLPA's must be able to:
Provide direct treatment by following developed IEPs
Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP.
Have strong communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work independently
Collection of data to report when IEPs are due
Hold a current SLPA license.
Hold a current fingerprint clearance card
Ability to be flexible
